Have you ever wondered who is doing all the work behind the scenes at The Modified Beauties?

Well here is a chance to find out. The Modified Beauties is run by a group of women rather than just one person. We like to refer to them as "The Administrators". Sounds kind of intimidating actually, (well maybe not a lot, but you get the idea.) Really they are all pretty awesome ladies if I do say so myself. (I might be bias as I am one of them but we'll get to that.)

They all work very hard together to keep the well oiled machine that is The Modified Beauties going. They distribute the work among themselves, even delegating tasks to their Administrative Assistants as needed. For the most part everything is orderly and harmonious, but of course they are human just like anyone else and will run into snags. The beauty of it all though (see what I did there?) is that they aren't afraid to talk it out, to approach each other and find a solution that is workable and fair for everyone. They vote, discuss and collaborate on all important matters.

Each Admin has their strengths and weaknesses and they aren't afraid to lean on each other for support and work together as a team, contacting one another when they need help or just need someone to bounce ideas off of. They are the ones posting the updates on the fan page, running the contests, and interacting with the fans when they send messages in.

There are some days when they feel like they are glued to the computer working on the community, but their love and dedication of The Modified Beauties can not be matched!

Besides being Administration for The Modified Beauties, they're women too with lives and interests, so let's meet them shall we and get to know a little bit more about who these lovely ladies who run the community are.

Name: Constance Medrano

Age: 26

Where are you from: Johnson City, Tennessee

What do you do (careers, school etc): 
Lord what do I do? Everything! I'm a photographer, singer, actress, crafter, business owner, above all a mother. I do my best to be busy.

Tell us a little about yourself: 
I am everywhere all the time. My brain doesn't stop. I'm constantly trying to be creative. I try to be understanding and loving at all times. I am plus sized and sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't...

What Modifications do you have:
I have four tattoos and 5 piercings. I've had to retires a few piercings such as my teardrop dermal and Medusa.

What drew you to The Modified Beauties: 
I was a part of a group called The Women of Modified or TWOM for short. Towards the end of TWOM I became a shadow president. I was asked to keep the group going with the other shadow president Dawn. But when that leader left she deleted the fan page and everything that we had built up. Because of that leader's lack of leadership there was a LOT of negativity and drama between all of the girls and those that left the group prior to its downfall and it left a bad taste in their mouths. Dawn and I did not want to give up on the girls. We had helped build a sisterhood and these ladies were my best friends. So we decided that we needed a strong base to build a better family.. That was over a year ago and I'm so proud of my family of strong females and how far we have come!

What do we like most about The Modified Beauties:
That it's a place without stereotypes, without judging, and it gives these girls a family beyond what they already have.

What's your favorite part of being an Admin: 
I do enjoy being an admin as I get to work with a good group of admins and assistants to break stereotypes. (:

Least favorite part of being an Admin: 
The hard decisions. We come to conclusions for the best of everyone but not everyone feels that way.

How do you know the other Admins: 
All of the admins were either the girls who remained or left TWOM and we're brilliant people persons. Dawn and I were shadow presidents for TWOM and main brain stormers for The Modified Beauties. We could not do this without Asia, Felicia and Elisha. I don't say Thank You enough to them. I love these ladies like my sisters because they are.

Do you have any future plans for The Modified Beauties? 
I have big future plans for the community. I want us to go to conventions and maybe public speakings. Support charities and such. I want us to continue to be a positive place for ladies.

Where are you from: Utah

What do you do (careers, school etc):
I'm enjoying life as a sales coach and working to get my Masters in Psychology

Tell us a little about yourself:
This is truly a great group of women, and I'm lucky to be a part of it. I'm really good at talking way too much. Giggling when I am nervous. Giving away entirely too much information at once and not using that "filter" that prevents your foot from going in your mouth. I'm really open and honest, which may be a good or bad thing depending how you look at it. I love getting new tattoos and piercings, it helps me relax. I'm always a bit crazy, but that's what is unique about me I guess. 

What Modifications do you have: 
I have Daiths, tongue and nipples pierced. I have 00g stretched lobes. I have a penguin tattoos on my left foot, a dove on my right wrist, sparrow on my left shoulder/back and heart locket with lyrics in the middle of my back and of course a hatchet man tattoo on the back of my neck. 

What drew you to the Modified Beauties: 
A family that shares common interests and all the unique women.

What do you like most about The Modified Beauties: 
No toleration of rude or bitchy bitches!! All the ladies in The Modified Beauties are classy and don't tolerate drama and Bullshit. 

What is your favorite part about being an Admin: 
Being able to use creativity and make things fun for everyone, as well as being able to choose photos for our divisions. 

Least Favorite Part about being an Admin: 
Admin fights!!! Lol. They don't happen often but creative minds will clash from time to time. ^_^

How do you know the other Admins:
We developed personal relationships over the years with The Modified Beauties as well as other groups. 

Do you have any future plans for The Modified Beauties? 
I hope The Modified Beauties continues to grow in numbers, and the word reaches out that we are here to support each other.

Where are you from: Currently live in Grandview, WA

What do you do (careers, school etc): 
I am a full time student working towards being an RN and eventually to OB Nursing.

Tell us a little about yourself: 
I am a mother of 2, engaged to the man of my dreams and have two little ladies that light up my life :). Got an addiction to tattoos, bright make up, and ever changing hair :). My family is my everything, and I am a very loyal person in general. I always go against the grain and never want to conform to the pressure to be "normal"

What Modifications do you have: 
I have 8 tattoos, lobes are stretched to 9/16 and my lip is pierced.

What drew you to the Modified Beauties: 
I had been a former member of TWOM and was approached to help reshape the group, became a Co-Founder and make it into something positive. I truly wanted to create a place for women to feel support, and have a genuine sisterhood for women who are modified in any shape or form. I definitely feel we have accomplished that.

What do you like most about The Modified Beauties: 
So many things, I love that we have genuine women here that have come together to support each other through EVERYTHING. It doesn't matter who you are, what you look like, you have a place to come and be heard supported, and cared for. I love that this group has so little drama, that there isn't a cattyness. And of course I love all the modifications the ladies bring to the table :).

What is your favorite part about being an Admin: 
Having the ability to shape the group, being able to have a say in the women we bring into our group and the access to each of the ladies. Being an admin is a lot of work yes, but you reap the rewards of all the hard work when you see how well your group does, how happy the women are to have it. I love hearing our members thankful and happy they have The Modified Beauties. Makes all the work completely worth it.

Least Favorite Part about being an Admin: 
It can get exhausting having something consume so much of your life, but it comes with the territory.

How do you know the other Admins: 
I met Connie, Dawn, Elisha and Felicia(My Wifey) when we were members of TWOM.

Do you have any future plans for The Modified Beauties? 
Of course The Modified Beauties will always be evolving, myself and the other Admins are always trying to find ways to keep things interesting and support our ladies. But of course I am not going to give anything away ;) but 2013 is going to be a great year for The Modified Beauties! :)

What do you do (career, school etc): 
Executive Homemaker

Tell us a little about yourself: 
I'm a stay at home mom to three wicked awesome kiddos and a wife to a good ol' red blooded country boy. We build mud trucks and totally dig American Muscle cars, personal favorite is the 78' Chevy Camaro. I'm a Pit Bull enthusiast, and would love to run my own rescue some day. Pagan proud, Avenged Sevenfold addict, COD (1&2), Zombie lover and hands on crafter.

What modifications do you have: 
I have 15 tattoos, including a large chest piece and some randomly placed arm, back and leg pieces. Stretched lobes to 9/16''. 14 other piercings: 5 total in both ears, eyebrow, nostril, snake bites, vertical labret, navel, and 3 intimate piercings.

What drew you to The Modified Beauties: 
I was initially invited by another member of a different modified group, to a different group actually and figured.. Eh, why not! I'm modified, they're modified. In turned into more of a reliable lifestyle understanding, considering everyone around me is pretty much vanilla. After we became The Modified Beauties, I nestled myself in and made it home.

What do you lie most about The Modified Beauties: 
Sisterhood and Diversity. We have so many women from so many different walks of life and yet we still fit so well together as a family. Some of these girls are my best friends, even without knowing them on a physical level. I can talk to them and talk about them like I've known them for years.

What's your favorite part about being an Admin: 
I enjoy helping out and being somewhat of a role model and outlet for the other ladies. Having a hand in making us what we've become and what we will eventually conquer gives me great pride.

Least favorite part about being an Admin: 
Sometimes the blend of Admin responsibility and every day life just doesn't mesh and can get a little overwhelming. No matter, it's still worth it.

How do you know the other Admins: 
I met the other Admins online. We are all original members from a previous group. I like to call us the "Lifers" Lol.

Do you have any future plans for The Modified Beauties? 
I'd like to see further expansion, group meetings/events so that we can actually meet some of the people we've been getting to know online for so long. More members, more fans, higher profile recognition outside of Facebook.

Name: Felicia (Cupcake)

Age: 27 years old

Where are you from: Auburn, Washington

What do you do (career,school,etc): 
I'm a Communications Officer for a police department, one of the Admins for The Modified Beauties, a mentor/priestess in the pagan faith. 

What Modifications do you have: 
It's not secret that I have a love for modifications, I've had a number of piercings, Current (4 earrings, septum, tongue, snake bites) Taken out 3 earrings, labret, nostril, eyebrow, belly button, nipples. I also have about 16 tattoos and plan to get more. Brightly colored hair all the time, it changes every month like clock work.

Tell us a little about yourself: 
I love video games, I own pretty much almost every Zelda game there is. I love cupcakes and was dubbed cupcake because of that combined with my short stature, hair that looks like icing and apparently I'm really sweet all the time.. I really gotta work on that one Lol. I'm also a loyal dedicated workaholic for my Police Department, and The Modified Beauties. I love my friends and my family and my little dog. When I'm not saving the world, gaming, or doing work for the girls, I like silly art projects, cooking, being outside and reading everything I can get my hands on.

What drew you to The Modified Beauties: 
What drew me was after being a former member and Vice President (second in command) of TWOM I wanted the sisterhood and community that I had tried to help establish before quitting because it was just too stressful, there was so much demanded from me at TWOM that I didn't have any sort of life, I felt like I was at the beck and call of the person who ran it at the time, I was working my ass off for her with no help, when I quit she started the shadow program, but it was too little too late and her own insecurities and personal issues caused the downfall of TWOM. I can't deny that part of me wished I would have stayed and started some sort of hostile take over to save all the hard work I'd done, but I think leaving was a better idea. When The Modified Beauties was founded I was asked to join by Asia and eventually became an admin because they knew me from my days with TWOM and I couldn't say no. I wanted to be apart of the community and reach out to other women and give them that sense of friendship and community that I know others seek, and things have just gone from there.

What do you like most about The Modified Beauties: 
The sense of family, friendship and connecting with like minds. It might seem weird to some but we're all close friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. We are there for a lot of these girls when they have nobody else to talk to, and I really love that.

What's your favorite part about being an Admin:
My favorite part is being one of the people that the others can come to when they need something, helping fix the issues that pop up and innovating awesome ideas for the members.

Least favorite part about being an Admin: 
Feeling glued to my computer sometimes too much, I lose track of time, but we've been working on that so it's definitely getting better:

How do you know the other Admins: 
I met them all through TWOM, we became good friends there and our bond became even closer when The Modified Beauties started. I know Asia (my Wifey) in real life from one of the chapter meetings TWOM had. I actually know a couple of the other members outside of the online community as well. We all clicked and have become great friends it's wonderful.

Do you have any future plans for The Modified Beauties? 
That's a tough one.. I want to expand our group add more like minded souls, maybe some day put together a real website maybe a ZINE online and offline? And some day perhaps travel more to meet more of the girls. 2013 is a new year and I look forward to it.
